2715 days – that's how long fans had to wait for BEMY's second studio album
7 years, 5 months and 6 days is quite a long time and in the world of media and music promotion one could say light years. Completely new realities, rules and mechanisms, but authenticity, passion for creation and love for music remained unchanged - features that stand behind everything that Mattia and Elie RosinsKi and Wojciech Trusewicz , members of the BEMY banD do.
If "SORRY NOT SORRY" , because that is the title of the album that we present to you on behalf of the band, was the result of calculation, it would be released with numbers in Polish. Each song would have a maximum of 2 minutes and an interpretation of the lyrics expressed in the first 15 seconds.
However, BEMY – despite the frequently heard question in the last year "why are two Frenchmen releasing music in English in Poland?", behind which those asking this question want to hide the thesis "it will be difficult for you to conquer our market" – probably out of romantic conviction and the pure joy of sharing music, on September 28, 2023 , after several years of the band being blocked on the Polish market and the subsequent pandemic, can boldly say " It's here! Just as we felt it and... sorry not sorry".
BEMY's new album defies previous categories. As the creators themselves say, it represents a genre with a name as romantically twisted as their souls:
"Anthemic Singalong Pop-Rock"
“Following the tiktok format, I can SAY if you like The Weeknd, Imagine Dragons and 21 Pilots listen to the album "Sorry not sorry" ~ Mattia Rosinski
“Honesty, freedom and authenticity dressed in pop-rock sounds. Heavy synths and funky guitars giving rhythm to anthemic choruses and melodic melodies. That's what this album is” ~ Elie Rosinski
The album "sorry not sorry" is promoted by a song of the same title and a video clip in the style of American parties of the 2000s. It stars, among others, Kasia Sawczuk . An actress who has been in private relationship with Mattia Rosinski for 6 years, who played a passionate kiss scene in the video, but, surprisingly, not with Mattia.
BEMY celebrate the album's premiere with a unique concert in the atmospheric Mała Warszawa , which is located in a complex of factory buildings from 1916, the former, iconic Fabryka Trzciny, while announcing a mini tour promoting the album.
During the concert the band is also supported on stage by: Effy, Artur Sikorski, Greg Barney and Frank Leen.
