EFFY RELEASES DEBUT EP, “PUSTKA”

“PUSTKA” is my first small step… before I take the big one.
It marks the end of a chapter filled with questions, uncertainty, searching, and quiet surrender.

“PuTKA” is me.
The way I was back then—hurt, lost, but becoming more and more aware of what I no longer wanted.

It was a difficult time, but one full of lessons.
That I don’t have to be everything for everyone.
That I can pause.
That “no” is a complete sentence.

“PUSTKA” is a project that taught me to speak with my own voice.
It’s a story about boundaries I finally started to protect.
It holds both lightness and weight.
French sounds. Polish emotions. My truth.

This is not an album about spectacular events.
It’s an album about the details.
About a gaze that doesn’t shine.
A laugh that lasts a second too short.
About what doesn’t happen—but still lingers.

In this project, I reached for sounds that have always resonated within me.
Light, intimate, melancholic. Inspired by French pop.
To me, French pop is tenderness in sound.
Sensual minimalism.
Unfiltered feelings—delivered with elegance.
Delicate synths, warm beats, vocals whispered close to the ear.
Like a midnight conversation when no one is pretending anymore.

I looked for sounds that wouldn’t cover the words, but extend them.
Light music, a bit danceable, but with its heart on its sleeve.
French pop gave me space to speak softly about hard things.
