ABOUT JAN
Jan Majewski is a 20-year-old singer and guitarist from Radom, Poland, who first gained wider public recognition through his appearances on televised music talent shows. Although he represents Generation Z, his musical roots reach deep into classic rock. He draws inspiration from Jeff Buckley, Led Zeppelin, and Jimi Hendrix, naturally aligning himself with the new wave of young artists returning to organic, guitar-driven sound.
After releasing his debut album, Jan began collaborating with an American producer associated with the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis — the very place where Elvis Presley recorded his first songs, Johnny Cash shaped his signature style, and Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins laid the groundwork for rock’n’roll. Blues icons such as B.B. King and Howlin’ Wolf also worked within the same historic walls. This creative environment opens new international opportunities for Jan.
2026 will SEE THE release OF new material that further DEEPENS his RELATIONSHIP to ROCK MUSIC.
ABOUT NEXT FEST
NEXT FEST has focused on music trends, industry networking, cultural equality, program diversity, and social engagement in promoting talented individuals by connecting creators, music industry representatives, and audiences. It arose from a need for integration and collaboration, giving emerging artists the opportunity to share stages with some of the most recognizable figures in Polish music. The conference portion serves as a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, experience exchange, trend analysis, and networking. It's no coincidence that the event takes place in spring—we believe that this single April weekend in Poznań will spark many new ideas and friendships, all between concerts by some of Poland's most interesting artists.
