NORBERT WRONKA RELEASES “BOJĘ SIĘ”
POLAND’S EUROVISION 2026 PRESELECTION
Today marks the premiere of Norbert Wronka’s new single “BOJĘ SIĘ,” created in collaboration with Miko Blascello and officially submitted to the Polish preselection round for Eurovision 2025.
“BOJĘ SIĘ” (“I’m Afraid”) is a deeply emotional pop ballad with a distinctly Slavic character — a quiet manifesto for peace, empathy, and hope in a time marked by global tension. At its core, the song is an intimate confession of fear: fear of the future, fear for loved ones, fear for oneself — yet it ultimately shines as a declaration that compassion and love remain powerful forces even in moments of uncertainty.
A song that speaks to the heart
Built on delicate, introspective verses that rise into a memorable, resonant chorus, the song feels like a generational call for peace. Written by Norbert Wronka, Julia Kałamucka, and Mikołaj Błaszczyk, it captures the emotional sensitivity of today’s youth while carrying a timeless message of unity.
Lyrics excerpt from “BOJĘ SIĘ”:
„czego chcesz od ludzi
tylko pokoju
Czego chcesz od Boga
świata bez głodu…”
The English-language pre-chorus broadens the message into a universal plea:
“Why can’t we live
In the world without sorrow
Where our pain would be gone”
“BOJĘ SIĘ” emerged from the artistic partnership between Norbert Wronka and Miko Blascello, who together shaped both the musical architecture and the emotional tone of the track. The production merges modern pop with the reflective, melancholic atmosphere of Slavic musical influences, resulting in a piece that feels both contemporary and culturally rooted.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Norbert Wronka is one of the standout voices of Poland’s emerging generation of artists.
He began his career with a major breakthrough, winning the “Debiuty” (Debuts) competition at the 61st National Polish Song Festival in Opole, where his performance of Czesław Niemen’s “Nie wiesz, czy to warto” earned him the prestigious Anna Jantar Award — the “Karolinka” statuette.
He previously reached the semifinals of The Voice of Poland as a member of Lanberry’s team.
Born in the small town of Dębowa Łęka in western Poland, Norbert creates music blending pop, indie pop, and Polish alternative — honest, emotionally charged stories that resonate strongly with young audiences. He approaches difficult subjects with sincerity, treating music as a space for truth and vulnerability.
From the beginning of his career, he has also become a meaningful voice for acceptance and inclusivity, especially within the LGBTQ+ community and among Poland’s Gen Z. His growing social media presence reflects an audience drawn not only to his music, but also to his openness, courage, and mission — even as he continues to face frequent hostility online.
