KASIA SAWCZUK EFFY, A Polish-born actress, singer, and songwriter who successfully bridges the worlds of film and music. Surprising, energetic, and influenced by French sounds, EFFY blends pop with dance electronica, offering an intriguing and unconventional sound. Her singles have gained significant traction online, capturing the attention of both the music industry and fans alike.
As a child, she appeared twice on the television show “Od przedszkola do Opola”; in 2003, she performed in an episode featuring Katarzyna Gärtner and Halina Frąckowiak, and in 2005, in an episode with Edyta Górniak. Between 2011 and 2017, she performed in musicals such as “Aladdin JR” (as Princess Jasmine) and “Najlepsze z Romy” at the Roma Musical Theatre in Warsaw.

Her television acting debut came in 2012 when she joined the regular cast of the series “Hotel 52”. In 2014, she played the role of nurse Zosia in “Czas honoru. Powstanie”, where she also performed original songs written for the series (“Dziewczyna z granatem” and “Tchnienie wolności”). That same year, she made her big-screen debut in Jan Komasa’s film “Miasto 44” and finished as the runner-up in the fourth season of “The Voice of Poland”.
In 2015, she played Łucja Miller in the TV series “Skazane”, joined the regular cast of “Barwy szczęścia” as Julita Karaś, and starred in Agnieszka Smoczyńska’s film “Córki dancingu”, where she also recorded the song “Mucha 3”.
In 2016, she debuted as Ewa in the TVP television play “Dom kobiet”, directed by Wiesław Saniewski. That same year, she joined the cast of “Pierwsza miłość” as Marianka and starred in the critically acclaimed Canal+ series “Belfer”.
In 2017, she participated in the seventh season of Polsat’s reality competition show “Dancing with the Stars. Taniec z gwiazdami”.
Between 2018 and 2024, she appeared in TV series such as “W rytmie serca” and “Zakochani po uszy”, as well as feature films including “Jak zostać gwiazdą”, “Dziewczyny z Dubaju”, “Fuks 2”, “Teściowie”, and “Heaven in Hell”.
In 2022, she starred in the feature film “Plan lekcji” and released her first singles under the stage name Effy: “RESET” and “Klaustrofobia”.

In 2023, she released the singles “Jest OK” and “Nie broń mi”, the latter earning her a nomination for the “Bursztynowy Słowik” award at the “Top of the Top Sopot Festival”.

At the turn of 2024/2025, episodes of the French series “Ça, c’est Paris!” featuring Effy were released, marking her first major role outside of Poland.
Kasia Sawczuk has also voiced numerous dubbing roles, including Zoey Brooks in “Zoey 101”, Celosia in “Pokémon: XYZ”, Meena in “Sing”, Luna Valente in “Soy Luna”, Pru Granger in “Spirit: Riding Free”, Princess Skystar in “My Little Pony: The Movie”, and Silver in “The Angry Birds Movie 2”.
Her collaborations with artists like 2sty (“Tego Tylko Chcę”), Małach & Rufuz (“RASPBERRY”), Jędrzej Wise (“Szogetten”), and BEMY (“Powiedz mi to jeszcze raz”) have also brought her a dedicated fan base.
Currently, in partnership with Warner Music Poland, she is preparing to release her debut mini-album, set for release in the second half of April 2025.
