BEMY is a Polish–French band WHOSE SOUND IS an electrifying blend of pop and indie rock. The group was founded by brothers Mattia and Elie Rosinski who were born and raised in France but have Polish roots through their parents. Music has been a constant in their lives since childhood with the brothers playing instruments nonstop in their family home in Bordeaux. After graduating from high school, they decided to pursue their music education abroad, leaving France to study in the UK. Their determination earned them a place at the prestigious Academy of Contemporary Music. Today, the band also includes Polish musician Wojciech Trusewicz.

2024 and early 2025 have been landmark years for BEMY, filled with major successes and new career opportunities. One undeniable highlight has been the spring leg of their Excuses Tour de Poland 2025. The title single, “Excuses,” premiered on January 28 and landed on multiple international Spotify playlists, including All New Pop, New Music Friday India, New Music Friday Denmark, and of course, New Music Friday Poland. The tour included ticketed shows in Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk, and Poznań.

In Poland, the band’s popularity has been boosted by their original social media series and two seasons of an RMF FM radio show inspired by it. Their recorded online performances have already amassed over 20 million views. The setlist is fan-curated, and their clips have gone viral across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, AND even TELEVISION. They HAve been shared by Make Life Harder, Edyta Bartosiewicz, Kasia Kowalska, Gibbs, Majka Jeżowska, and praised by the likes of Michał Wiśniewski, Małgorzata Ostrowska, Edyta Górniak, Piotr Rubik, Ania Karwan, and many others.

On February 21, BEMY released the French-market single “L’amour superficiel”, which also gained traction in Poland. It’s a catchy, electro-pop tune co-created with French artist Sainte Nicole.

BEMY were the winners of Poland’s edition of “Must Be the Music” and the Top Trendy Festival (POLSAT). In 2022, they were nominated for the Amber Nightingale award at the Sopot Festival (TVN) with their single “6 SECONDS.” Their journey began in 2013 when they reached the final of Must Be the Music, finishing second. In 2014, they performed in the semi-finals of the Woodstock eliminations, the Jarocin Festival, and were the first in Poland to perform an acoustic show under the UK’s Sofar Sounds project.

That same year, they won the jury prize at the Top Trendy Festival and the grand prize at the Jarocin Festival, and performed on the main stage at Woodstock after winning the band competition. In 2015, they played Spring Break Festival and Radio ZET’s Summer Tour.

Their debut album “GRIZZLIN” (2016, Universal Music Polska) features 11 English-language tracks, led by the single “Time.”

Following the release, BEMY hit the road, quickly building a reputation for their powerful live performances, playing venues ranging from clubs to stadiums. Their festival resume includes Sziget (Hungary), Reeperbahn Festival (Hamburg), Life Oświęcim, Fest Festival, and Spring Break Festival. They’ve also performed on major TV events such as The Voice of Poland, Miss Polski, The World Games, and Top of the Top.

They’ve opened for Jake Bugg, Nothing But Thieves, Kensington, Maroon 5 (Kraków) and Ed Sheeran—twice in Warsaw and once in Bordeaux.

The single “OXYGEN” became a viral hit, covered by stars including Izabela Trojanowska, LP, and even Ed Sheeran. The song’s music video inspired the Hollywood film Life in a Year starring Jaden Smith and Cara Delevingne.

“OXYGEN” premiered on RMF FM. Initially more guitar-driven, producer Bogdan Kondracki gave it a synth-heavy overhaul. The track was mixed by Michael Bear and mastered by Joe LaPorta at Sterling Sound, USA.

Their 2019 single “Mr. Brown” signaled a stylistic shift. Due to legal and contractual hurdles in the Polish music industry, BEMY had to pause their activities for a few years. Just as they planned a strong comeback, the pandemic hit.

During lockdown, they performed online from their Warsaw apartment and began crafting new music, which they later unveiled with support from Island Records Polska (Universal Music Polska).

Before announcing their second studio album, they also appeared in the hit Netflix film All My Friends Are Dead, both on screen and on the soundtrack.

Their latest project is titled “PETITE POLOGNE”, slated for RELEASE in 2025. THIS PROJECT IS a collection of French LANGUAGE COVERS OF classic Polish hits, in partnership with the Zbigniew Wodecki Foundation and SayHi Publishing.
